Our mission at The Centre for Gender Rights at LCILP Global, the non-profit division of LCILP, is to promote global gender equality by partnering with multilateral organisations, civil society organisations and governments in attempts to attain the Sustainable Development Goal of gender equality by 2030 by raising awareness of gender-related issues and facilitating the development of gender-focused programmes.

Our work seeks to provide expertise to policymakers and other interested parties, while also partnering with civil society organizations and women’s coalitions. We aim to do this by conducting research, hosting forums, and allying with international organizations on gender rights initiatives.

Our six focus areas include: Gender and Conflict, Gender-Based Violence, Gender-Responsive Budgeting, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Youth Empowerment, and Women and Peacemaking.
